CHALKROOM is an AI Skill for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor that builds a blackboard lecture deck with a stepped worked example and a quiz. A lecture deck on a slate board: a chalk-dust wipe clears the old slide, headings write themselves word by word, every rule and arrow draws in as a chalk stroke, and the deck includes a worked example you step through and a quiz answered from the keyboard. Twelve slides in one HTML file, printable to a 16:9 PDF and exportable as PPTX.

Yes. On the worked-example slide the arrow keys write one line at a time inside that same slide, dropping the previous line to 55%, without moving the deck on. On the quiz slide press a, b or c (or click an option): the right one gets a teal circle, a wrong pick gets a stroke through it, and only then does the explanation appear. Chapter cards darken the board another 8% to mark a section.
Yes. Every piece of text is editable in the browser and your edits stay put, with ⌘S saving a fresh HTML file. The PDF button prints one 16:9 page per slide, and the PPTX button exports through pptxgenjs so the text, tables and charts stay editable in PowerPoint rather than arriving as pictures.
No. The Skill runs inside your own AI tool, and deck.html stays on your own machine.
