CATHODE DESK

3D retro-computer portfolio

CATHODE DESK is a free AI Skill for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor that builds a portfolio running inside a 3D retro computer. A desk in a dark studio with a 1986 CRT computer on it. As you scroll, the camera crosses the room and pushes into the glass, the set boots into a desktop, and the project list, a case study and the about page open as windows while the scanlines keep rolling.

FAQ

Paste it into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, or save it as SKILL.md in your tool's skills folder. The AI downloads the asset pack, asks for anything missing and builds the site in your project folder. How Skills work

It is used as the texture on the 3D screen, with a custom shader on top for the barrel curve, the scanlines and the flicker. The whole site needs no image files.

Yes. Give the AI your brand name and copy, then replace the asset pack files with your own under the same file names. The Skill also tells the AI not to invent reviews, awards, addresses or phone numbers.
