Anthropic put Claude Motion into beta on October 8, 2026. You can ask Claude to turn a quarterly report into a 30-second explainer for an all-hands meeting, add motion to a chart in a board deck, or make a product walkthrough for customer onboarding. Claude builds the animation from your prompt, and it plays like a short video.
According to Anthropic, Claude Motion writes code that animates your text, charts, shapes and images, so every word, number and timing stays editable. It does not use a video generation model, which means there is no generated footage and there are no AI-generated people. You can adjust the result in the editor or ask Claude to change it, then download it as an MP4 file.
To take an animation further, you can open it in Adobe, Descript, HeyGen, Higgsfield, invideo, Luma AI or Runway, and Anthropic says Canva and Captions support is coming soon. Animations can also be shared with people outside your organization, or with anyone who has the link if your admin allows it.
Claude Motion is available on Team and Enterprise plans. It is on by default for Team, while Enterprise owners must turn it on under Organization settings, Artifacts. Anthropic launched Claude Dashboards the same day: it connects to data platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks and Snowflake and turns plain language questions into dashboards that stay current, in beta on paid plans.
