Ukiyo-e woodblock print motion video
UKIYO is an AI Skill for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor that renders an Edo woodblock print style motion video with an original score synthesised in code. Every shot is one complete Edo woodblock print: flat pigment blocks slightly out of register, carved variable-width lines, per-pixel bokashi skies, woodgrain and rubbing on washi, and your words stamped on as cartouches and seals, rendered as an MP4, a poster and a contact sheet.
Paste it into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and give it the one message and the brand name. The AI installs GSAP and the render tools, writes a storyboard and renders the MP4, a poster and a contact sheet frame by frame in your project folder. How Skills work
Flat pigment blocks sit 1.5 to 2.5 px out of register, lines are carved with a varying width, skies are graded per pixel and the washi shows woodgrain and rubbing. The paper is the white, red is kept for seals and highlights, and your words are stamped on as cartouches and seals.
