How the studio works

Two people and a press. We take on four projects a year so that each one gets the same attention, and we print proofs before anything is signed off on a screen.

Most work starts with a constraint rather than a mood board: a paper stock, a budget, a run length, a machine that can only do two colours. The constraint usually turns out to be the idea.
